For some yes it is to this script. But remember lots of men and women have MLCs and do not leave their families. The proverbial red sports car, etc. So while it isn't uncommon, it isn't one-size fits all.
But that is what you are up against. While her awakening has thrown your world into chaos, hers has never been more exciting.
So it goes back to DBing: GAL, detachment, 180s and being the best E you can be. Like LH said, what makes E awesome?
