Nothing good or new (this is starting to seem like a duet. . .).

I still wonder how to think about/deal with The Big Problem -- that is, that the Cat thinks that "all" of the problems stem from our sexual drought/change. That is, he just can't let it go -- if I complain about anything, he snaps back with "Why should you get X; I don't get what I want."

I know, don't complain! I'm trying a lot not to, and I'm getting better at taking care of me. But I did ask him the other night what he thought our marriage would look like NOW had that not happened. He hasn't answered yet, but I thought it might be revealing.

Do you think I can get any clues for behavior from his answer?

Hi Fox,

Well, Rome wasn't built in a day... and it's going to take time and energy to change the momentum as well as direction. You can only eat an elephant one bite at a time.

You'll figure out how to get the answers from the clues he gives you... digest them for awhile and see if they fit in the overall picture before you start trying to find out where they fit (like putting a square peg in a round hole). It takes time for the big picture to come into focus.

What more have you done that is different from before? And what sort of results are you getting from them? The answers to these questions will give you the clues you need to get things really hopping here, Fox.

Trust the process. It's worked for many of us.

I'll check back later!

Ba ba ba bump!

I don't have lots of time to read others' threads and post, but I am listening and responding a little and would love some feedback.

We had a C session today; followed by a pretty good talk and hey! H cleaned the kitchen tonight!!! It's a Very Big Deal here.

So instead of jumping his tired bones, I'm reading this forum. Bad Fox, bad Fox.

Gotta go to bed.

Okay, Fox, this is good news. Now I have a question for you: Was Cat's cleaning the kitchen a signal for you to jump his bones? If so, why didn't you give him what he wanted?

I'm not assuming here, just asking...

Tell us more about the C session and the VERY BIG DEAL. Let's see if we can't help you analyze this a bit more.

Good Fox, Good Fox!
