Going the Distance (Saying ILY Pt. 6)

S15 is home watching the younger kids. Working today doing random odd jobs for my old boss who is retired. Did some mowing and weed eating. He decided it was too hot to work anymore at noon, so he decided we should go to the local tavern for a few beers and lunch. It is steak day, so we enjoyed some ribeyes and beers. Got to listen to him and some other Vietnam vets tells stories and give each other a hard time. Pretty entertaining. S8 has a ballgame this evening and D9 wants me to help her make spaghetti for dinner tonight, so the rest of the day is already planned. Trying to enjoy myself as much as possible the next couple of days because my next GAL adventure is having a wisdom tooth removed Friday morning. Really looking forward to that...
