I have thinking about what could I say here to help you. I you pretty hell bent on talking to her parents. You say the last thing you need is for them to hate you for not telling them that she went off the rails. I'm not sure why you think they would hate you. You cannot make her stop, nor can they. And to be politely frank with you, I'm not sure it's any of their business or yours to tell.

Last week it seemed as if you wanted this marriage to work correct? I believe that you are in shock, rightfully so. If you have any thing in your mind that wants to save this, you have to let go. Let her walk her own way. Let her tell her tell her parents. Let her live her life. Let her be.

Well, there certainly was a lot of fireworks at my house last night. And i dont have to even consider calling her parents because they will be calling me today, guaranteed!

Basically all of my kids know that their mom has a boyfriend and has been living a 2nd life. The sad thing is she doesnt admit but really doesnt deny. She made one week attempt at an excuse but then the evidence becomes too overwhelming. The sad thing is she let her kids go to bed without any type of concern, compassion, care, etc. She didnt even go kiss them goodnight. She just went to bed.

Im glad i didnt have to initiate contact with her parents and thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts. Especially Sandi2, who has been so accurate its scary. Im going to have to step up now and fill the void of mom for my kids. I just hope and pray that she comes thru this sooner than later and without much morr carnage in her wake!
