I went back to Gerda's thread, removed the quotes and then copied/pasted the posting to her "blank" posting. It came up okay. I'm just waiting for Gerda to return and tell me if it is the correct posting or not.

Yes, it worked! They still need to get to the bottom of this glitch. The system isn't selective as to who should have disappearing postings and that issue concerns me. We have so many that need to come here for support. I hope they can get to the bottom of this very quickly.

Please try to refrain from using contractions and special characters. I am seeing quite a few postings disappear due to contractions.

A gentle reminder to all....the forum is still having issues with contractions, special characters and lengthy postings for some. For some, posting lengthy postings post successfully and for others, they disappear.
I have been advised that they are working on a new format for the Board that, hopefully, should take place in the next 30 days. Will this correct the glitch that we've been experiencing since April? I hope so, but in the meantime, please do not use contractions and/or special characters.
