Benito had a WAW. His old threads were archived because there was a strong possibility that his W was going to find them.
However, there is another thread kicking around. I am copying it here. Note that even though he had a WAW, he went NC/dark and GAL'd. And then when opportunities came up to connect with her, he took them up but his attitude and actions were totally of someone who had detached, dropped the rope, and moved on. I believe that his success was in fact based on that, and also that his W realized the magnitude of the loss when she saw what she was giving up. He really took the time and changed himself and made long lasting improvements.
