Why in the mind of the WW do they treat LBH like the bad guy? They know they are in the wrong, and i get re-writing history, but in the back of the mind of the WW they know that LBH didnt do anything wrong. Why treat them like the enemy?
You are forgetting the coping mechanism of self-deception. The WW TRULY believes that she is justified in what she is doing because she has convinced herself that the LBH IS the bad guy. That is what rewriting history is all about. Justifying what they know to be wrong. "But its his fault because he treated me like crap!"
Self-deception goes way beyond just WW, people have been doing that for centuries. One that is very common today is Hs feeling justified in using porn because their wife doesn't provide sex for them. Same concept: I feel guilty for doing something wrong, so I justify it by blaming her.
