At least now the 200 is paid and you have proof. It won't be a Marital Asset if you are formally S, otherwise it is in your possession valued at 200.

Yeah, she loves calling the police. I think it's hurting her in the long run. Now there's documentation I paid for the ring. Also, when I took the van back, she called the cops and gave them OM's address, which basically proves she spent the night with him. Not sure if the latter is admissible as proof of infidelity, but it sure doesn't hurt...

She also likes to start cursing and yelling when the show up, and I stay cool as a cucumber. During a previous vist, one of the officers said, "Wow! She sure is a firecracker!" after she left. Last night, she wasn't there, but had gone to the police station, and when I told the officer that I didn't want to give her money because I didn't want to enable her drug use and be responsible for her OD'ing, he said he got the impression that there were drugs involved on her end...

Sadly likely correct.

Do you know which ones?

There is time frame in this. Heroin and meth are quick destructive killers.

Wacky takes a long time but can create paranoia.

Odd she involves the police considering her drug use.

Did you need OM address?

She likes prescription opiates and cocaine. The pills have been an issue for a while. She just started with the cocaine about 4 or 5 months ago when she started the bartending job. I find it odd that she keeps calling the police as well considering the drug use, but she thinks she has everyone fooled. She has the strange ability to believe her own lies. I didn't need OM's address. I already knew where he lived because about a month ago, W was on Snapchat and her avatar popped up on the map. I suspected cheating and was curious as to where she was at, so I drove by. OM's car was there, but W's van wasn't. I checked the map again, and it said she was currently there. I found the van a few minutes later parked in the back of a hotel parking lot. She was trying to hide it. I assume she had OM pick her up, because she didn't want the van parked outside his house, because then, you know, people would know what they were up to. There were already many rumors about them going around town...

Those are expensive drugs. If she runs out of cash she may go down market. This will age her very quickly and she is around alcohol.

Uggggggggg

4 kids mixed up in this!

I hate that addictions come first above all else. OM clearly doesn't have the cash for this either.

Truly sad for her future.

My heart bleeds

The devious part of me thought "mtb should have moved the van to the OM's place". In her drug fueled state she probably would have not even remembered she hadn't parked it there.

Agreed. It is hard enough dealing with a sober WW, let alone one that is always hopped up on something.

W sent me a text last night asking if the kids had any plans tonight. I think she's starting to realize she needs to make plans in advance instead of showing up on my door step randomly. I told her they didn't. She asked if she could take them to get ice cream. I said sure and asked what time. She asked when we would be having dinner so she could take them after that. I told her what time we were eating and she was more than welcome to eat with us if she wanted. Looking back, I wish I hadn't because she sent a text back saying I'm mean and hateful and she doesn't understand why I would invite her to dinner. I never responded after that. 2 hours later she sent me another text that consisted of "???", wanting a response from me. I still did not respond. I guess that was a mistake on my part, but I was just trying to be nice. I know the kids would have liked to have dinner with their mom. And I have no problem with her coming over at a planned time and being civil...

She got mad at you for inviting her to dinner because it made her feel guilty. the thought of sitting down to eat with her family after all the chaotic madness she KNOWS she has committed makes her have to look in the mirror at the monster shes been.
Call it sober moment of clarity perhaps.

You're doing awesome with an impossible situation MTB.
I have actually been somewhat suspicious of drug use myself, but with NC and TRO i cannot confirm this. I know coke is prevalent in WW's industry and it would explain the 45 min bathroom trips everyday after work when we were still living together.
I actually hope my WW's behavior could be explained by something as simple as drug use.
