I am 99.9% positive that the reason Mr. Cool is being so chatty is because of:

I am trying to distance a bit more for me. So I do not
have IM on today.


AND

I am trying to just enjoy his friendship, which is how
it feels sort of right now, without focusing on the
ending of our marriage next week.
