I phoned S17 on Xmas, had a nice chat. Asked him to pass the phone to D16, and while he was, my mother asked me for the phone to talk to S. I gave it to her, and instead of D16, W is on the phone! I guess she was looking for some kibble too. I didn't get the phone back until mom was talking to my daughter. Wasn't playing games, but I just didn't care to chat with W, so didn't go out of my way to make the effort. Feeling pretty good about that.
