It's good to hear from you.

It is not about what you feel should work in your M. It is about doing the work that gets the right results. Do what works!

That certainly demonstrates poor judgment on her part. As for your pain, it is fantastic that you are being honest with yourself and not pretending you're OK when you're really not. That is the path to healing. You will get through it on your timeline, it may be longer or shorter than someone else's but that doesn't make it wrong.

One positive of this sitch, I have never been a better father. That's really the only positive, but it's a HUGE one.

That's a great one to be sure. There will be other positives that come out of it as well, just be patient. They will come.

I have a desire to meet someone new, but cannot let someone get close to me. I just don't know how to trust again. I guess that comes with time.

Right there with you. You can see by my timeline that I'm a few years past your timeline, but trust is definitely a huge challenge after you've been through what we have.

Is it crazy I still have hope? Is it insane that insane that I still wish my family was reunited? Probably natural, albeit, 1 in a million...1 in a billion.

No it is not at all crazy. Hope is yours for as long as you want it. Hope is the force that keeps us alive and moving forward, even if it's hope in something seemingly impossible! And impossible things have happened because someone had hope where everyone else would have given up.
