We all need to DB, but we all have ZERO chance with our spouse if there are 3 parties involved.
I want to quote this in particular, because I agree with it. But at the same, I feel that saying that Benito had an 'easier go' or a 'better chance' seems dismissive.
My take, for what it's worth is that there really isnt all that much difference between a WS and a WAS.
In my opinion, the basic steps to proceed are this: WS: Affair ends --> WS checks in on LBS --> Potential for recon WAS: WAS checks in on LBS --> Potential for recon
As Matrix sais, there is no chance for recon until the affair is over. But just because the affair ends (usually in ways that are completely out of the LBS' hands), doesnt mean that the road is paved for recon.
Sure, the time schedules are probably different. But the 'easiness' or likelihood, I dont think is really changed all that much.
I believe that the biggest difference is that due to the time scale, most of the time, the LBS isnt interested in reconciling the marriage by the time the WS comes back around.
