The comment about refusing to leave the marital bed could mean a few things, but I don't see the point in obsessing over it. It's not like that answer is going to lead you to some brilliant insight into her mind right now.
I know we all want to make sense of everything they say, especially in the beginning, but it's not always worth the energy. You want to listen to them when they're talking about the MR and what led to the breakdown of it, but stuff like this is just hot air.
