Not really. I found Gottman's "Couples Guide" and Chapman's "Love Languages" much more helpful. But my wife does not seem to be in a position to "Just Do It". It was nice to see acknowledgement that HDs are not monsters, and discussion of the frustrations of a SSM for both partners. It was also nice to see the lists of possible causes - it turns out that my wife was already aware of most of this, but I did not know that she was, since we have had such a hard time talking about this issue.
