That is pretty wow! I would be terrified, but I am sure you will do great.
I thought of you the other night, saw a belt and set of dumbbells for working out in the water. I meant to save the web site so I could tell you where it was but I forgot and I don't remember now.
Either the stress or the Zoloft or both affect my memory.

Thank you Ladies for visiting and your congrats! Pam, those pool items sound fun! Husband has declined to join me for excercise 2 days in a row now...so I'm going to stop asking... but I feel even more proud of myself for doing it. It'd be so easy to not put in the time and effort knowing that it's not important to him...so why should it be important to me?
Fortunately that 3 x 5 card I created reminds me! I have all my reasons for getting into shape on that card. And reading it daily helps me so much! If he wants to be weak and out of shape, that's his choice....I'll be running circles around him!
Heh!
Speaking of running circles...my pool is an above ground round pool. So, I run near the border in a circle. Well, the day that Husband joined me in the pool, he pointed out to me that my jogging in a huge circle was creating a whirlpool!! And he was struggling to jog against the current. So...that gave me the idea...I switch directions whenever I noticed the whirlpool going. It really is hard to jog against...at first, when I switch directions, I barely move forward. I think by switching so often and fighting the current...I'm building up my muscles even more than if I just kept going in one direction for the whole 20 minutes. Because if I did keep going in one direction, the whirlpool would push me along and I wouldn't have to work so hard. Make sense?
Anyway, I'm having fun and am still sore!
I have my meeting/weigh in Thurs night and Husband is going to join me. To give me some extra support.
Sage, I'll keep posting my positives!
I appreciate them ever so much!
Positives:
1> Husband and I carpooled yesterday.
2> He tells me that he loves me frequently.
3> He's being very patient with me while I adjust to the changes in our life. (Note to self, focus on not saying anything if I can't say something positive...)
4> Husband is going to go with me to my WW meeting!
For my fellow companions on this journey of weight-loss:
Bottom Line, a newsletter said the following:
In a study of 105 people, we found that those who inhaled a chocolate-like aroma whenever they felt like eating lost nearly three pounds in two weeks. A study of 3193 volunteers found that sniffing bannana, green apple or peppermint scents resulted in an average weight loss o f 30 pounds in six months. Sniff the above foods often, and smell every food beofre you eat it. Your brain will perceive that you're eating more, thus suprresing your appetite.
Good day PnB, Popping quick today between paying my bills.
Congrats on the Grad Student status ... with the way you done your homework around here ... I know you'll do great!!
Boy ... your mention of whirlpools brought back some childhood memories! I had thought that was the purpose of a round pool! I would alway attempt to make a stronger swirl hoping to get the funnel action going. Use to get it so strong I could keep on my feet.
Luv hearing about all your positive too ... including your trip. Guess I'll have to make the switch from the "see food" diet to the "snif food" diet. Seriously, I'll give it a shot since I gained 10 pounds back over the winter and having been able to shed it yet. Late evenings are the worst when I get a craving if I try to cut back on my dinner portions, so now I'll just go for a snif. Will let you know if it works.
I have found in my experimentation that sniffing my food while I eat it seems to make a difference.
My mom suggeted that it may just be that since I'm taking the time to smell my food...that I'm actually eating slower...which makes me feel full faster.
