Sage, Pam!

Thank you Ladies for visiting and your congrats! Pam, those pool items sound fun! Husband has declined to join me for excercise 2 days in a row now...so I'm going to stop asking... but I feel even more proud of myself for doing it. It'd be so easy to not put in the time and effort knowing that it's not important to him...so why should it be important to me?

Fortunately that 3 x 5 card I created reminds me! I have all my reasons for getting into shape on that card. And reading it daily helps me so much! If he wants to be weak and out of shape, that's his choice....I'll be running circles around him!

Speaking of running circles...my pool is an above ground round pool. So, I run near the border in a circle. Well, the day that Husband joined me in the pool, he pointed out to me that my jogging in a huge circle was creating a whirlpool!! And he was struggling to jog against the current. So...that gave me the idea...I switch directions whenever I noticed the whirlpool going. It really is hard to jog against...at first, when I switch directions, I barely move forward. I think by switching so often and fighting the current...I'm building up my muscles even more than if I just kept going in one direction for the whole 20 minutes. Because if I did keep going in one direction, the whirlpool would push me along and I wouldn't have to work so hard. Make sense?

Anyway, I'm having fun and am still sore!

I have my meeting/weigh in Thurs night and Husband is going to join me. To give me some extra support.

Positives:

1> Husband and I carpooled yesterday.

2> He tells me that he loves me frequently.

3> He's being very patient with me while I adjust to the changes in our life. (Note to self, focus on not saying anything if I can't say something positive...)

4> Husband is going to go with me to my WW meeting!
