I get you. Trust me I do. I do tend to seek out that positive part and give it a little boost. This is moreso to be sure it doesn't go unnoticed and not to weigh it up against the negative.

I am sure that you are right about her motives and the likelihood that it is not logical financially. But did I mention she reached out again!! If she keeps trying eventually she will dig deeper and get an opening with the girls. Neither are ready for that yet but this is paving the way. It isn't even a foundation to build on yet, but more like a sketch of a future foundation.
