Just a quick update/check-in. I hope everyone is getting to enjoy the summer and relax/rebuild.

My life feels like it's on a good track. I'm in a R that has lasted quite a while now, and although it's been up and down (we both tend to think a lot, talk a lot, and be a little emotionally reactive and insecure), we feel we're on a good path and things are getting more stable. We live close to each other and spend a lot of time together.

I've been working my new full-time job for just over a month. It's been stressful and exhausting, but I enjoy it, and I like my colleagues and the company I work for. I also like the pay check , and I'm currently looking to buy a place to live of my own. I'm planning it so I will not have a mortgage payment when I retire. It's really nice to be in charge of my own financial future and not have to compromise on decisions that I don't agree with!
