What if you read or considered nothing about the future, while he is there?
What if you just focussed on enjoying his company AND OR the other things you do that week?
FTR, I'm guessing he has the same nerves you have...and that makes distance more relatable, till you two see each other. I would think some familiar comfort zones will play out.
SOME things will come naturally.
