WW with affair moved out 4+ weeks ago

I am glad we don't have kids. However it doesn't make this any easier from my viewpoint. I feel terrible for the OM's 2 boys. I was very close with them and expected to be a part of their lives... Graduations, weddings, etc. I was uncle 15stang even though I wasn't related to them. I know this is crushing them. The OM's mom had an affair and left his dad when he was younger. We talked about it a lot when we where still friend and how much it crushed him.
