Reading in another thread about custody got me to thinking...I was raised to not give up on anything and to fight like hell for what I believe in. What does this situation teach kids, especially when one parent is not aware of trouble and the other does it for selfish reasons. That's one of the problems of society. Jeep, I think our kids will see through the bs of our situations and realize that their dads stood for them and their family. It may take awhile but I honestly do think that. They absorb so much of what we say and do That i think they absorb the fight we are putting up for our families. I think it will make them more resolute and counter the "easy approach" method our Ws are showing them. Lead by example and all.

I am sorry to hear about your mom. It's no fun as our parents begin to age. Make sure you don't waste a moment with her and we will all have y'all in our thoughts. Hang in there brother. Times are tough but they won't be forever.
