You sound like I did back then. Looking to find others who succeeded and then trying to figure out what they did differently than the ones who didn't. I'm not sure it is that simple. Of course there are people who hammered the last nail in the coffin by themselves but there are also others who did a fine job but their spouse didn't come around. At least not with any time left on the clock. Sometimes the left behind spouse has already decided to move on.
