H has been trying hard to be very considerate and very nice. I have noticed the little things like him saying thank you and him being a bit more cuddly. He's mentioned the fact that he is not very good at communicating and he's also said he knows he doesn't compliment me enough.
Little things? Actually this is all huge for him.
My inlaws are still playing games and I'm sure badmouthing me....but I don't care. They did not come over as a couple to see the deck, although fil did come over to work on it with bil.
H told me he informed them of our status...back together...and that they were coming over together before leaving town. I would have bet my life that they didn't show and they didn't show. MIL sent some coffee cups over...perhaps a sort of peace offering? I don't really know. I think maybe because I helped H pick out her earrings, she wanted to send something back....she got garnet earrings for mother's day. H gave them to her early as he was going to work and she was leaving town. H may have told her I helped pick them out. I'm not sure.
I was not invited to go over to inlaws' house when H went over to take her the gift.
I did say something about it to H finally and that's what prompted him to "tell them about our status."
