Hey KK - the beach trip is this weekend isn't it? Oh how I wish I could be there with all of you! Have a great time everyone.
KK - you've experienced both sides of the issue. What is it when someone has an A because they have really fallen "in love" with the A partner? How do you know that maybe they have found the right person for them and you should really just let go so that they can be happy? I'm fighting so hard - but maybe by fighting I'm destroying her happiness - the happiness of the person whom I love. How do you know?

totally - gosh - i have been following your sitch, but i have been so swamped with getting ready for my trip that i just let you slip by...you asked How do you know that maybe they have found the right person for them and you should really just let go so that they can be happy? - quite frankly you don't - you have no idea what is in their mind, only they do. if there is one thing i have to tell you totally is to practice patience. these things can change overnight, BUT they need time to get there. brian tracy (yes i am a zealot) says that most people fall short of their goals when they are just about to happen - he says that because attaining goals are so slow at first people lose interest cause they think it's not working, and then quit right before it can be obtained. so i have to tell you, you are still focusing too much on p, get your focus off of her and on to yourself, make yourself a person whe wants to be with...if your still available that is...

i gotta tell you all, but there is nothing short of a miracle that this whole interaction with db friends has been to me so far. sure i have only met a total of 4 people, and there is more to come, but already it feels like i have known these people for what seems forever, and that we will be life long friends

I loved the ocean two yrs ago; my first sighting, I was so amazed and awe struck! Maybe someday I can save up some money and go back to the beach...
I had a dream once...
I woke up, stretched, got up out of bed. I slowly made my way to the old tea pot. Got out my flowed mug and flipped a tea bag in. I have time to get dressed, and made the bed. There she blows; the wistling of the hot water. I poured in over the tea bag and made my way slowly to the screened in door. Looking out through the trees; I saw the most beautiful sight, that never ceases to inspire me. The ocean and stretch of beach. How blessed I am, I can see it every day. I head out onto my veranda and sit in my comfortable wicker chair. Alone...but peaceful. A new life until the end of my days. Listening only to the ocean speaking to me...
I had this dream about 4 yrs ago. At the time I felt so depressed, thinking where was my H and why wasn't I dreaming of him with me? Be careful what you dream of, those dreams may come true. Maybe the ocean part didn't come true yet. But, my being alone without H did. Little did I know then, how true that dream was. I got to see my ocean though, but H was with me. I guess the dream was turned around. I'm glad he was there to share it with me. The happiness of walking on the beach and feeling the waves suck me toward the ocean. The salt on my lips... Picking up the gifts from the ocean: shells. I have quite a collection.
My H joked with everyone saying that he knew we would be going many times to stay at the ocean. He didn't know that it was the only time it will ever happen.
We did two days at disney, one at seaworld and best of all a whole day at Discovery Cove; swam with the dolphins. It was my last gift of a vacation to my H. I LOVED every minute! If I only knew it was the last time...
Add me to the list of jealous folks! Have a great time on the beach and most of all together!
I'll go play in the sandbox in honor of all of you this weekend!
KK - you never cease to amaze me. You say you have learned from others on the BB, and I continue to read through your thread and learn from you. I really hope to be among the successes soon and my H is showing the same inclination!

Since you mentioned you might be back on from the beach ... don't for get to collect a seashell or two so you can take the sound of the ocean home with you. Should become a priceless memento of a wonderful time.
