Oh good, Dawn. I thought they went together, but sometimes I think my taste buds are odd. Thanks for the welcome!
I love reading your posts....they're so positive! I'm amazed at how fast your D was. I was still struggling in the fetal position at 3 months. I hope to get to where you are one day. You're a year ahead of me on the H move out date (my BD was 2 months previous). I don't think I have reached an acceptance state on this yet, though. Too codependent. But I'm basically happy...enjoying what I do and the mulling over the multiple forks that have suddenly appeared in my road. So many trees blocking my view, though. I'm slightly scared but feeling adventurous!

Any advice from you or anyone else to help me through the "its now official" phase would be greatly appreciated. Something to think about when those moments of WTF happened arrive?

You could go skinny dipping with doodler. It makes all of the other WTF moments seem insignificant. wink

Love skinny dipping, dood! Unfortunately, we just had our first snowfall last night. Raincheck?

ciluzen,

Thanks for the offer! I love cheesecake, but I'm more of a moscato kind of guy when it comes to beer. (Moscato beer?) But, that's not very macho is it?

Moscato? Well, "macho" is the guy who can drink a "girly drink" because that's what he likes. The guy who drinks beer that he doesn't like just because that's a man's drink...pretty weak. I drank wine and too-sweet "fru-fru" drinks with my old social group and it always bothered my stomach. They'd actually tease me a bit if I deviated fro their norm...like high school girls! In reassessing what I liked while seperated, I vowed to do what I wanted and one of those things was to drink what I liked. I don't drink often, but I usually get a beer (a good one, hopefully!). If I want to splurge, I have a nice scotch. So, dood...have your glass of moscato! And own that sucker...its all about you.

ciluzen,

Thank you! That came at the right time. Over the weekend I bought two fuax clay pots from Home Depot and painted them with brass metallic paint (now they're faux brass pots). Then, I stenciled a flower with leaves on the pots using metallic venetian blue. The end result was very pretty, and I didn't cry, but I am beginning to question my masculinity. This evening I'll have to drink some beer and watch football.

Only if you WANT to, dood. I'm a 'Hawks fan, myself (actually a Pete fan from further back) so I'm gonna pass on tonights game. Yesterday was just fine. But I grew up in a family that, well, if you wanted to watch our only tv in the fall, you darn well better like football. So I like football (as well as futbol).

By the way, the flower pots sound beautiful. I think I'm getting a bit misty at the image...I can do that. Gender appropriate and all that.
