Traditionally I would expect that both parties would want to work on the marriage for it to succeed.
Most people when they arrive here are past the traditionally stage. Now you are in the lets say "emergency" stage. Yes she can sense what you are doing just like you sense what is happening with her. As far as her showing you her commitment. I would suggest she is unable to do that right now. And you pursuing that pushes her further away.
