So I looked after my D's at my W house last night which was a very odd experience.
When she returned home from University we sat and had a chat about my nan and was asking how I was holding up. It was quite an emotional conversation and although I was clearly upset she couldn't even muster a pat on the back to console me.
I've told her that she should attend the funeral if she can make it as my nan was very much a part of her life for 8 years, I'm not sure she'll go though.
Feels weird be to writing back on here after so long but I thought I would pop by to see how people are getting on.
A lot has gone on since I was on here last.... I had my Nans funeral which my W actually attended! The family were in shock to see her there but she stuck with me for the whole thing and was really supportive.
I have started my new job last week and have been incredibly busy trying to get my head around everything, it's nice to throw myself into something and it has very much got my full attention.
Flying out to Dublin on Monday for a few nights with some close friends, lots of food, drink and good times on the horizon.
With regards to my W when I see her I don't feel like that spark is there anymore, she is just another face in the crowd. I know it's only been 7 months but in that time I have had so many people tell me that I am a different person, I am more fun and approachable and have even been told I am a joy to be around..... Who knew!
I don't know what the next 7 months have in store but bring it on.
