Zeus, this is the most positive I've heard you sound in a long time.
There's nothing wrong with renting. The tax benefit is just one consideration in a decision like that, and probably not that great against the additional costs of ownership. But you've navigated through so many challenges in the last few years I'm sure you'll figure that out too.
It's such a blessing for you to have so much family support.
I wish I understood chess the way you do -- my S8 really enjoys the game but we've reached the limit of what I can teach him and while I'd like to learn more too, it's outside my range of opportunity at this stage. Your kids are blessed to have such a great dad.
