I live about an hour from Baltimore and Elkton has small town charm, but very close to Baltimore. It will be interesting to see how they finance a home and keep up the mortgage payments. I think RT was just talking to see what your reaction would be. But, time will tell.
RT is definitely looking at your ex-MIL's income. How does she know so much about what the lady has and earns from her investments? To me, that's really none of her business, but her eyes are shining bright and her tongue is hanging out, just ready to bite into a chunk of that money. She probably has never made that kind of money in her life and this looks like a huge amount of money to her.
I think RT is telling you things to see what your reaction is and if you'll up and say something about all of this. I may be wrong, be in many ways, I think she likes to fish. Be careful of her!
