Thanks for your support, you guys. It's funny because very few of us have met in real life, but I love you all so much and feel so much more comfortable sharing all this crappy/funny/crazy/mind boggling stuff that happens with you. This is our safe place. I really don't share much with my "real life" friends - they just don't understand!

I'm concerned for my ex-MIL too, but she's a strong lady and hates RT. I may just put a bug in her ear Ellie as you suggest -- I think she'll protect herself and her assets. And yes, Bright, RT did actually tell me all that stuff. What she actually said was ask did I know ex-MIL lives on $70,000 a year interest from her investments, and then said she and ex would inherit a lot of money someday. But I forgot that inheritance is not a marital asset in NY! Hehehe, she'll have to stay married to him to reap any benefit from that!

I think she sees me as some kind of ally, which is sort of sick.
