I think you've been a saint to put up w/Ex and Mrs. Ex thus far. I can't even imagine why they drove out of their way to come to your home unless they were looking for something.
I'm very concerned for your ex-MIL. RT is out to get every penny she can and I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't try to have your ex-MIL committed and placed in a nursing home. I don't trust her one bit.
You were right in advising her of her new h's employment status and what his credit standing is all about. Yes, they would have to have some proof of employment. BTW, is your h on SSN or still just floating and not working at all.

I do not blame you for blowing up. I would have had to show them the door the minute RT started talking about the ex-MIL. Actually, I don't think I would have invited them in. LOL! Next time them come over, whip up a batch of oatmeal and serve it up cold.
