Oh what joy is RT or RKT.

XWH is living with RIT and she works. On Friday he filed suit against me in the UK for a big chunk of change.

Big mistake, form A1 in the UK, the form he filed (usually it's Form E a voluntary form) opens up the discovery process and puts RITS assets on the table and her income. Just to help my L is going for maintainance as her income and potential pension are triple mine. Her assets are huge too and she has maintainance.

If XWH refuses to answer my discovery questions we will go for enforcement and contempt of court.

I love that RIT and her assets and income are in play.

Really I want nothing from them but to go away, if this does it then it's all good.

My Xh L ended being fined and had to pay me for missed work for her stalling, which I think Xh was partly responsible for, but his L was had to take the fall in front of her peers. Humiliating experience for her. But the more greed they display the deeper they sink.

Underdog, so sorry you are living in the “Russian mafia ponzi scheme” complex. Gosh, I'm so sorry and meant no ill intent! I should probably tell ya that Alex across the street is Russian and he's super nice. He's savvy and business smart and he's missed on our HOA board. The real jerk in my complex is a plain old American a*hole. So please know that I don't discriminate! Plus, I love my townhouse. The ponzi schemers have long fled, and my HOA had to deal with the fallout for the past 10 years. They've finally caught up and are getting back on track. Besides, it didn't have to be a RM thing... it could have been some home grown schemers too. I just had *no* idea that southeast Denver/Aurora had so many expat Russians. Or the RM. Isn't that supposed to be NYC?

I really meant in a good way about being resourceful. I swear you guys get stuff done that the rest of us scratch our heads and wonder how that happened. I've lived here for 26 years and still don't know how to do half of what they do. Besides, my XH is 1/4 Russian. Does that help? Maybe not. He's not a jerk, though. At least not often.

I truly owe you an apology. It's never okay to stereotype, and I'm really sorry I lumped you in a category of people who aren't respectful. That category could be anyone, and not necessarily associated with any type of ethnicity. Nobody likes being put in a box, because I think it's far more complicated than that. I may be a Celtic Catholic, but I'm not cheap... or a drunk... or any other stereotype that a accompanies my background.

Here's my latest on my weirdo ex. He's upset because RT quit her job already after only 3 days. AND he had a spinal tap and his neurological Lymes is back. He is taking oral antibiotics this time, but is supplementing them with, you guessed it, fermented oatmeal!!

I'm remembering the stench, my poor ex MIL. I should really tell him to stop these weekly email updates but it's sort of like having a soap opera delivered in weekly installments.

My turn to apologize… I think I over-reacted. This is the lesson I still need to lean, how not to take things personally. I’m guilty of stereotyping people too sometimes. I get that. I try to avoid stereotyping though, and especially in my sitch where my H tried to have an affair with Mexican girl and she went to for it, even though she was a cousin of our best friend in Mexico.
I’m also no fan of some of the stuff that I see in Russian community. I’m not that connected to it anyway. And I try to avoid some people too. But I also know some good people. I used to live in Denver BTW, and one of my GFs still lives there. Denver has one of the largest Russian community. Like I said I never was part of it, as my H is an American. And I agree with you… there are some Ponzi schemes going on, that’s for sure. And they do know how to navigate the system. Getting stuff done is one thing, abusing the system is another… I know people in Russian community who don’t want to work because they just can use the system to make the living. It angers me. It means that they are living at my expense, because I pay a lot of tax as high earner. I’m also no fan of Russian women who, like RT in Linda’s sitch walk over families and other women’s lives to get what they want. For RT it is an American husband and what she thinks is a better life for her.

But… I’m not one of these people. I get things done too, but in a legal way, LOL. And I was not using my H for anything. I guess this is this one thing that I’m still trying to “prove to the world”, because of the stereotyping. People automatically assume things… until they learn the whole story about me. So, I’m sorry about the over-reacting to your post. Linda, and I’m sorry for high jacking your post.

Oh, and I have absolutely nothing on Irish/Scottish folks… A have a few good friends who are Irish and Scottish. My best friend in Mexico (mutual friends with H) is Irish. Also, I have nothing to say about drunks, LOL… this is the one thing that Russians have in common with Irish and Scottish.
