Wow V. Yes wait it out and let them dig their own holes. My Xh L ended being fined and had to pay me for missed work for her stalling, which I think Xh was partly responsible for, but his L was had to take the fall in front of her peers. Humiliating experience for her. But the more greed they display the deeper they sink.
