LOL the "you don't listen" thing kills me every time... I am listening! I hear exactly what you're saying, you just don't want to hear what I'm saying!
I'd really work on validating her and not share your stuff at the minute. Until she feels understood, she's not likely to want to listen to you.
Buxom, I do not say that to her. I do validate her feelings but in my head it is very frustrating sometimes because it feels hypocritical on her part.
