I like your idea for your anniversary, mine too is coming up in a few weeks and I'm torn on what to do. Was originally going to at least have a card ready (in case she has one) but what am I to be happy about right now or celebrate? the last year has been anything but.
I will likely need to go to work as I just took some time off but it will be busy and I've got a meeting in the evening so as to avoid the awkwardness. My D really wants us to spend it together though - that has been a tough pill for her to swallow.
