I agree 100% w/Cadet's posting. Sometimes it can't be helped...you have to go to court, have the judge hear your case and review your documents and/or proposals in order to get the settlement worked out.
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
