Yea, its a LOT of fun. I've shared the stage with many of my idols growing up. We used to be very active, but have scaled back. I kind of got away from that for a bit. Its a great outlet for stress, plus there's no other feeling than playing music to thousands of people.

That is too cool! You need to drop some names; my ears are burning.

lol, there have been a lot. Some notalbles for me are Sevendust, Mastodon, Staind, Shinedown. The best though was looking off the stage and seeing guys from Metallica watching us! Unreal.
So it's been a week in the dark (NC). I feel pretty good about myself. I have no idea what W has been up to and really don't care right now. I get anxiety just thinking about her, so I try to stay focused on other things.
I guess I'll give this whole going dark thing a little bit of time and see how things go. . .
some good news though, the dogs love my new couch! Its really funny watching them pick out their spots. My smaller dog went from cushion to cushion trying each one out haha. My grandparents offered to buy me a kitchen table, which is nice. And I'm slowly acquiring new decorations as she took most all that are worthy of putting up.
I too am trying to get set up in a new place also. You will feel good at times as you put up things you want to look at and interest you.
Your place will feel like yours and I hope you will get the confidence I have from my own place. Keep posting.
I'm still in my house (she left) but it does feel like different place. I'm just so happy that I have the dogs. It would be a lot harder for me if I had to come home to an empty house. I have two ecstatic dogs waiting for me. Kinda helps puts things in perspective.
I know exactly what you're doing; you're cranking up Metallica so loud that you're shattering the windows. (And please, none of that Metallica country music nonsense.)
