As I previously stated, I've seen almost the identical story posted on the board.

If you could remember that thread I'd appreciate it, I'd like to read it. Thanks Sandi

Darknes-

I understand you are only trying to help and I really appreciate it. I'm very aware she has a different perspective on the situation, what's causing me pain is that her perspective is the only one being recognized in the eyes of the court friends in laws neighbors, etc. even now the case is dismissed I still feel like I've been put though a 4 week ordeal and a court case, and portrayed as the villain and was not even able to do anything about it.

qt4x11,

I'm sorry. I know it's difficult for you right now even if you were expecting it.

qt4x11,

No, it's not over unless you want it to be over. There are a lot of people on this forum who's wives have filed (including mine). Check out betterm's thread; he just got his notice yesterday.

qt4x11,

As far as what to do is concerned; don't do anything for a few days. Just process it. Try to get out with friends and/or family and GAL.

You don't have to take immediate action.

So are you guys still trying to work it out w your spouse even if they file? Can you even turn around that situation?

That's like - this person is stabbing me in the back, how can I DB them so they will want to reconcile w me? I mean is that even an appropriate thought to be having?

DB is for you. You can still do it during and after the D. I am still trying whether my W comes back or not I will be a better man for either her (if she opens her eyes) or someone else.

qt4x11,

You don't turn the situation around. You work on yourself and GAL. Get your mind off of your wife and your marriage. Stop pursuing your wife. Have as much fun as possible and enjoy yourself and your life.
