So which is it? Are you the hairdog from the Survivor TV show forums? Or the hairdog with the German dog kennel? Or, let me guess, you're the one from the Trumpet Geeks Forum?
Thanks Aquarian, I had a look at "My Home" and found one particularly useful feature. Have you noticed at the bottom of the screen it tells you how many people are on the forum? At this moment it says “1 registered and 1 anonymous users are browsing this forum.” So I know I have the forum to myself. Last night it was particularly busy and there were 11 on the forum. Wouldn’t it be great to know who they are? Well you can. All you have to do is add people to your “Address book” and you can see if they are on line. Here’s how: Click on one of the maroon colored “SuperDave” links and it will display my profile. Click on the “Add to my address book” link then click on “My Home” and (provided I am online), to your amazement and delight you will see me listed under “Friends Online”. Not only that, it gives you useful information like “Aquarian is viewing a list of postings” and “hairdog is viewing his post in flat mode” - although unless Michele has a webcam in his bedroom I don’t know how she knows that! I can say as a LDW, it would totally depend on the mood of the moment! If I was in a giving/receiving mood, I'd be shocked at first that you choose to 'air our dirty laundry in public', but I would keep reading. islandgirl
I have to second that. I would be ticked off at first, but it would be a spotlight on the problem. When the spotlights on, it hard to miss the white elephant no matter how hard you try.
But I wouldn't be too worried. Of course, if you're met at the door one day with a meat cleaver, then you do have a problem.
