I ask you guys is this just her guilt talking? I know for a fact she is seeing at least one other guy, not sure if it is sexual but he will be with her for at least art of her birthday weekend celebration.
Nate, Dbing indicates that actions not words are key. I would encourage that you do not concern yourself about whether it is guilt or not. I would thank a stranger the way she thanked you if they helped me when I was sick in pain. I would be genuine in doing it but it would not have to do with guilt nor anything else except that I am thankful for the help.
