Hi Mvg, I'm sorry to hear that - it must be hard to experience. I always think it pays to take things steady in terms of getting to know & blending families....doesn't look like your XW and OM are heeding that piece of advice.
No, this hasn't happened in my sitch - but my H ultimately did say he left because he wanted a 'new family.' His S is now 15 and he wants to start over with a much younger woman and new family - do the swim lesson/school plays etc that he feels he missed out on.
