Left for someone else vs. left for another family

Good morning everyone, hope all of you enjoyed your weekend.

I'm curious, how many of you were left for someone else vs. left for a family? Here's what I mean...

My XW not only left me for another man, but his family. Even before I moved out of the house, she was giving my boys presents from the OM as well as his parents and extended family. My boys regularly attend his family functions, his children's school events, bday parties, etc. My XW parents and his parents are close friends and this almost feels like a coup.

My XW and I got into a slight argument this past weekend bc she was saying that S5 had to go to OM daughter's dance recital instead of going to a bday party for a kid in his class. That sort of thing worries me because I'm afraid that he will miss out on big part of HIS life because she's too concerned about him being a prop in hers. That refers back to being left for a new family. Her and OM are very concerned about "presenting" their new family to everyone...his friends, her friends, etc.

As crazy as this sounds, I'd have a much easier time if she left me for another guy, but to pop my head off and replace an entire family is so disturbing to me.

Am I the only one who has experienced this?
