Lee, Why not just pull over and cheerfully tell her to drive? No hard feelings, no sulking, just hand over the reins and refuse to participate in her negative junkola. That's my thought. A few times of that and she will learn that she can't bait you into the big fight that she is thinking will make her feel better.
