Had another small text interaction with W again yesterday.
She texted to let me know the dog (who I have with me) is due for his annual check up. Then asked to please let her know if there was anything she needed me to do followed by a smiley emoticon.
I thanked her and then decided to ask how D's bday was. She responded it was good, that they had taken the day off together and gotten some frozen yogurt etc.
I responded that I was glad they were able to spend some time and get some treats.
She went on to say that D is experiencing a growth spurt and has outgrown all her clothes (this made me sad as I haven't seen her D in almost 3 months).
There was some frinedly banter and she ended the convo with another smiley face emoticon.
