I'm glad that you found a way to be able to get a gift to your W's daughter, Thornton, and that it was well-received. Nicely done.

Also glad to hear that you've managed to regain your post BD weight loss. I'm still down nearly 30#, and no sign it'll be coming back anytime soon. Ah well.

Nothing new to report from over the weekend.

I really struggled this weekend with missing W and missing D's bday party but was able to pull out of my funk.

I know this is a marathon and not a sprint, so I'll refocus my efforts on GAL and my goals in the gym. BTW, I've regained the 14 pounds I lost after bomb so I'm feeling really good about that!

Thornton, these anniversary type dates are a killer. No idea what I'm going to do on my W's 60th, I had figured grand plans which I'm sure she's gone ahead and made. Good to hear the funk didn't last long. Keep plugging along.

Great you're doing good at the gym, I'm not able to gain any weight myself. You've gotten places! 14 lbs is huge! Weird that we're at a point in our lives we want to gain weight?

Had another small text interaction with W again yesterday.

She texted to let me know the dog (who I have with me) is due for his annual check up. Then asked to please let her know if there was anything she needed me to do followed by a smiley emoticon.

I thanked her and then decided to ask how D's bday was. She responded it was good, that they had taken the day off together and gotten some frozen yogurt etc.

I responded that I was glad they were able to spend some time and get some treats.

She went on to say that D is experiencing a growth spurt and has outgrown all her clothes (this made me sad as I haven't seen her D in almost 3 months).

There was some frinedly banter and she ended the convo with another smiley face emoticon.

That's the latest and greatest...

We've had some friendly interaction the last few weeks but I guess I'm not really sure how to move forward.

She has reached out every single time. There's been questions about how I'm doing, if I'm dating, if I'm happier etc.

There's also been friendly banter and lots of smiley emoticons.

Any thoughts?
