Thanks for checking in. I didn't mean to disappear, I've just had a lot going on.

I really like the new place. The neighborhood is great too, much more convenient.
The best part, however, is I have detached from my ex. I don't even want him back anymore. It's such a relief to feel this way. Highly recommend it. Ha!

I still haven't found a way that I can stay in the US. Unfortunately there is no way around it, Europe, here we come.
We have an appt with a mediator coming up, but I'm worried it could turn ugly and we'll end up with lawyers in stead.

How are you two? I'll drop by your threads later.

I take it then that your daughter was not born in the US?

Is there any US company that will hire you for unique skills? (Language if not English?)

Have you talked to an immigration lawyer?

I'm also a foreign national so throwing some ideas out there...

We've had two mediation sessions. I'm working hard to make sure we're friendly and it seems to be working.
Financially I won't be compensated as I had hoped, but I'm not trying to make a living off the guy either.
It will be ok. Somehow it will work itself out for the best.
