For me settlement is about getting back the stuff that's mine. Stuff that I had to agree to even tho xh2 says he knew he wasn't going to stay he kept taking things that weren't his to take. He has a bad habit of taking things and keeping people's property under false pretences in my case he was going to fix restore and keep safe. None of which happened, nor has the return as promised In the case things went south.
It kind of like the line in the sand, he needs to actually be as good as his word.
