Important: coordination of pick-up/drop off, scheduling, school, health, etc. For these answer promptly or within a reasonable timeframe and answer honestly and as completely as you can.
Unimportant: general questions like "are they having fun today?", "how are they doing?", blah, blah, blah. This is her sticking her nose into your time with them. For these, if you respond at all keep it short. Promptness is not necessary. Answer at your convenience or not at all. You are not to be seen as hanging on her every text, waiting like a servant.

Wow... First week of separation. Is it supposed to suck this bad. I can't stop thinking that this can't really be happening. I never thought the women I loved would settle for being a part time mother let alone make me a part time dad. I miss my boys I'll see them tomorrow.

Fortunately I've got the kids tonight. The last couple days I've been feeling really lonely. I'm having a hard time GAL. I've told myself to take it easy since this is the first week of separation. I just know if I'm not careful I'll keep making excuses for not GAL. I found a Australian Shepard that needs a home. He is at a foster home right now. The dog is really skidsish because it was raised in a puppy mill. Emotional and physically abused. I'm think this dog maybe therapeutic for both of us. I know the kids will like him. Hope everyone is doing ok.
