Sparkles - I agree with Tim, you can always say you took the high road. You would have done it for a neighbor because you are a kind person with integrity, so, of course, you would do it for him….. Your H wouldn't know what that is right now.
Who knows what he will do in a couple months? Sounds like his head isn't screwed on straight at all with the issues he had in the past and leaving a good woman like you for an unemployed OW with a head case. He could've been baiting you to say something else….hard to really know what these WH are truly thinking because that would be mind reading. You know the whole believe nothing they say and half of what they do.
