Sparkls I like that you are considering the high road. I think a very basic simple text. "remember such and such." Any text back about it, ignore. You reminded him (which is nice) and you stayed NC. It may sound cold but the fact you are reminding him is not cold. JMO

"I was just reminded about X. I hope you've taken care of that." sounds kind of patronizing to me.

"I was reminded about X and I thought I'd remind you too in case you haven't taken care of it yet " ??

Or what broke said " I was reminded about X in case you still need to take care of it."

So I ended up saying basically "You've probably already done it but just in case, I was reminded that you'd need to update your address."
Him: "Did you get a letter?"
Me: "Nope"
Him: "I haven't offically changed addresses yet. I was debating on not doing it all in lieu of how soon I'm leaving."
